A powerful story ...

When his talented older sister vanishes into a strange new church, 17-year-old Cliff Kozak and his best friend Duffy embark on a mission into the heart of darkest New Jersey to track her down. Cliff’s plan: reason with Denise. Duffy’s plan: rely on his personal sex appeal as a lure. Neither has a Plan B: What to do if she refuses to be rescued?

Inspired by a personal story, Salvation Road looks at the cult experience from the flip side: the point of view of bewildered family and friends left behind. Where do you draw the line between faith and fanaticism? Between a church and a cult? Perhaps it is that moment when you are forced to choose between your religion … and your family?
